Origins
Created by award winning photographer and safari operator William Fortescue, We Are Wild is the outcome of many hours of discussions around camp fires where so many of his guests would often talk about their desire to sell prints but never having the time or resources to do so.
William launched We Are Wild so his guests could enjoy the same pride in their work as he does and, crucially, raise money for conservation in the process.
All of the We Are Wild photographers are current or future guests on Will’s safaris. Find out how to join him on safari and become a member of We Are Wild below.

Our Story
"Every year I watch my guests create phenomenal images but always hear the same thing; 'I wish I could do more with my work.'
I hope for We Are Wild to be the solution to that problem - A dedicated print store for all my guests to share their art with the world and raise vital funding to protect those areas they so love to photograph."
Conservation Focus
The We Are Wild artists are lucky enough to work in some of the most remote corners of the planet, photographing iconic species adored around the world.
Doing so leaves a mark.
Rather than dwelling on the negatives, the constant doom and gloom in today's conservation messaging, We Are Wild want to utilise their work as a positive force. Each quarter the artists choose a new charity to partner with and donate 15% of all print sales to them.
David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation have been chosen as the launch charity, a fitting choice given their history of pairing art with conservation.
